Feeding the HungrySolomon’s Porch, Kempner’s Food Pantry, located at Kempner UMC, brings food to those in need in our community.
This ministry is a great example of the way we help bring the community together to bless one another. Community partners include Taylor Creek Elementary, Kempner VFW, Brick Oven Bakery, Lampasas Boy Scout Troop 200, 5 Hills Cowboy Church, Clear Creek Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Kempner. The Food Pantry is open the second Saturday of the month from 8:30am - 10:00am. Special holiday baskets are given at Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. |
Helping HandsWe believe that we are all created to be God's hands and feet in this world. We try to reach out spreading God's love through our Helping Hands programs. These projects and activities vary throughout the year as we help to meet the needs that we see.
Soles 4 Souls Shoes in any condition are collected throughout the year. Our collection for the Soles 4 Souls program helps to bring a good pair of shoes to people all over |
